The Rooms

Each of our rooms are slightly different in layout and character, but all have en-suite bathrooms, air conditioning for the summer and cosy underfloor heating for the cooler months. They are also stocked with Molton Brown toiletries, amenity kits, slippers, robes, hair dryers and fluffy towels. There is a laptop sized safe in every room.

Our newly renovated Writing, Reading, and Drawing Rooms are located on the 1st floor. With high ceilings and triple paned windows letting in beautiful light, they are sure to inspire the next Lord Byron. These rooms will be available starting April 2024, please contact us directly to reserve. Each room comes fully equipped with Culshaw kitchenettes in case you feel peckish and want to rustle up an afternoon snack

Our spacious Cathedral, Piano, and Garden rooms are superior rooms located on the 2nd floor. Each of our original rooms have unobstructed landmark views and also come fully equipped with Culshaw kitchenettes.

The Attic room is a standard twin room located on the 3rd floor. This room is cosy, has two single beds, lower ceilings, and is up several flights of stairs. It has a great view overlooking the Cathedral and is perfect for older kids or young at heart adults.

If you are looking for accommodation that is suitable for a family (i.e. you require a master bedroom and two single beds), we recommend Lord Byron’s Suite (which consists of ‘The Writing Room’ & ‘The Reading Room’ and shares a private lounge area and a small balcony overlooking orange trees in the neighbouring garden) or if you prefer landmark views, you won’t go wrong with ‘Cathedral & Attic’.

For friends or couples travelling together, the Piano & Garden rooms are a great option.

If you want to get the whole gang together but prefer having your own private space to retreat and common lounge areas to congregate in, you can book the entire property (sleeps 14).

If you require parking, we can help. Please contact us directly if you have any questions or click the following link for more information: secure parking near Dubrovnik Old Town.

Planning your Stay in Dubrovnik

Is 1 day in Dubrovnik enough? Not really. Unless you are using Dubrovnik as a transit point or have been here before, you are making a mistake to stay only one night. We’re not knocking it. But that’s our honest opinion. Dubrovnik has so much more to offer.

Are 2 days enough in Dubrovnik? It’s a start! You’ll see the major sights, have some wonderful meals, but wish that you were staying longer. And that’s OK. You can always come back!

Are 3 days enough in Dubrovnik? Now you’re talking! You’ll have the time to relax and enjoy this amazing fortified town by the sea. Plus you can try multiple flavours at your favourite gelato place.

Dubrovnik in 4 Days & Beyond

Are 4 days in Dubrovnik too much? Honestly, we’re a bit biased. We meant to spend a couple nights here 2o years ago… So do with that information what you will. If you’ve already spent three nights in Dubrovnik, you’ve seen the major attractions, had some great meals, relaxed and enjoyed the sea, explored nearby islands or towns. Now you can explore! Go on some adventures, eat local specialities at family run restaurants in nearby villages, embark on great day trips to nearby Cavtat, Mostar in Bosnia, or Kotor in Montenegro, take a speedboat to the island of Mljet or enjoy a magical meal on the island of Sipan. You’re in for a treat!
